We are in website beta, so we are honest about it: the waitlist count on this page is the real number, and it is not rounded up. What do I actually get for free — is Standard just a demo?
Standard is free permanently, not a trial. It includes a full profile with photos, discovery, and messaging with anyone you mutually match with, and you can earn the Verified Veteran badge on it without paying. What happens to my DD214 if I upload it?
It is encrypted on upload, reviewed by a human within 48 hours, and permanently deleted once your badge is issued. We do not keep a copy, and we do not sell or share it. Can I cancel, or am I stuck in auto-renew?
You can cancel any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for — we do not cut you off the moment you cancel. Do I have to be a veteran to join?
No — but this is built around veterans and service members, and the people who genuinely honour that. Civilian supporters are welcome. What we are not is a mass-market swipe app, and if you are looking for casual volume dating, this is the wrong place.
Can I get a refund if it is not for me?

I am a U.S. Army Veteran who served from 2001 to 2005, including during Operation Iraqi Freedom. My time in service taught me the value of loyalty, discipline, trust, brotherhood, sisterhood, and commitment. Those values do not end when the uniform comes off. They follow us into our lives, our families, our friendships, and the relationships we hope to build.
I created Devotion After Victory because I saw a real problem with today’s dating platforms. Too many people are dealing with fake profiles, catfishing, scams, shallow conversations, and dating experiences that feel unsafe or disconnected from real values. After hearing feedback from others and seeing how generic these platforms had become, I knew veterans deserved something different.
