These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Devotion After Victory platform ("Platform") operated by Devotion After Victory ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 21 years of age to use this Platform. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@devotionaftervictory.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Our verification program is designed to confirm military service. Submitting fraudulent verification documents — including altered DD-214s, false VA cards, or military email addresses you do not own — is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities.
You agree not to use the Platform to:
Devotion After Victory is built on mutual respect, dignity, and the values of service. All members are held to a strict standard of conduct in all community spaces including Veteran Lounges, messages, profiles, and any other interactive features of the Platform.
The following language is strictly prohibited and constitutes an immediate violation of these Terms:
Our platform employs automated content moderation to detect and block prohibited language in real time. Members who attempt to circumvent these filters — including through misspellings, character substitutions, or coded language — are subject to the same enforcement actions.
Enforcement: Any member found to have used prohibited language is subject to immediate account suspension or permanent ban from the Platform at our sole discretion. A permanent ban results in the immediate forfeiture of any and all membership fees paid, with no right to refund. Repeated or egregious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities.
Members may report violations using the Report function available on all community messages. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform. You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community.
Paid subscriptions (Elite, VIP Veteran, and VIP Supporter) are billed on a monthly, 3-month, 6-month, or annual basis as selected at checkout. Web payments are securely processed by our third-party payment processor, CCBill; purchases made inside the iOS app are processed through the Apple App Store, and purchases inside the Android app are processed through our in-app processor.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period for the same term and price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us and CCBill to charge your payment method automatically for each renewal until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your dashboard under “Manage Subscription” or by emailing support@devotionaftervictory.com. Cancellation stops all future charges; you retain access until the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to the free tier. See our Subscription Disclosure.
One-time purchases (video chat credits and private room sessions) are non-refundable once consumed. Refund eligibility and how to request a refund are described in our Refund Policy.
You must be at least 21 years old to purchase a subscription.
Exception — Active Military Deployment: We honor the service of our military members. If you are an active-duty service member who receives deployment orders after subscribing, you may request to have your account frozen for the duration of your deployment rather than cancelled. Account freezes are available only for verified deployment orders and are subject to review. Misrepresentation of deployment status to obtain a freeze is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account termination.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We are not responsible for the actions of other members on or off the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devotion After Victory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or damages resulting from interactions with other members. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, conduct harmful to the community, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, waiving any right to a class action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
